How it Works

You know the Hunger Games, 24 tributes fighting to the death for glory and survival. We're replicating that on a much smaller level.

25 Students will be placed in a circle on Battell Beach. In the center of the circle lie foam swords, shields, water blasters, backpacks, and more. (example video of mock-Hunger Games above).

One can get another person out by hitting them anywhere between the pelvis and neck. Once you're out, you're out.

Grab weapons or bolt away. Create alliances or play solo. Betray your friends or play with loyalty.

All players will keep in contact with the Gamemakers via GroupMe.

Rules:

1. Only designated weapons allowed that are in the Cornucopia at the start, given by Gamemakers, or given by Sponsors.

2. A kill counts when a person is hit with a designated weapon between their neck and hips with a sword, water from a blaster, or any other discharge from weapons. (Meaning, you cannot pick up a stick and use it as a sword).

3. Do not go inside buildings. We do not want to disrupt people or break anything. If there is an emergency, contact a Gamemaker.

4. Do not cross College Street (do not walk into the street, the game will be played in the North-Eastern sector of college).

5. Do not involve anybody who is not playing (no help from outside sources, unless they are signing their name to sponsor you)

6. The first minute after the games begin is a no-kill period. This allows everybody a fair chance of playing.

7. Do not cross borders that are sketched in your map. (Each player will be given a map with approximate borders for the games)

8. The Gamemakers' words are final. Trust they ultimately know what is happening.

9. Do not break weapons.

10. Win.

Winning

The game will last no more than 5 hours. As time goes on, the borders will become smaller and smaller.

Once all perish, a winner will be crowned.

Prize includes a Mokingjay Pin, $50, and maybe a few other fun things.
